From Lay Off to Pay Off: Transitioning from Unemployment to Franchising 1/12/2011



 

 

The WSI Internet Franchise opportunity was mentioned in a recent edition of USA Today Franchising Today in an article that discusses franchisees who have successfully transitioned from unemployment to franchising. WSI franchisee Paul DeBernardi explains that franchise ownership offers beneficial support. Working in software sales and marketing since the early ‘80s, DeBernardi found himself laid off from two different Internet security companies within a year. As a result, he opened his WSI business in the summer of 2010.
